New Cam in

Well i picked up my car yesterday and i love it, it pulls like a freight train.
It pulled out 280 rwkw on a conservative dyno, i've been told it should be good for at least 290 rwkw but will no definetly when we do a power run in January on a brand new dyno. I also had a Mal Wood clutch fitted and a rip shifter its like a totaly new car.
Mods so far.

dynamotive otr
ls6 manifold
Cam
36lb injectors
mafless tune
rip shift
malwood clutch
diff gears 3.9's
lowered with pedders springs and shocks

Mods yet to come.
Kaaz diff center
Ap four spot brakes front and rears
df 3 inch exhaust and cats
383 stroker.

what size cam did you get

not 100% sure its a new grind being tried so can't reveal to much but its some where around a 228/232 not sure on the lsa, its pretty lumpy though, and has a really strong mid range and top end, bottom end is not to bad, better than we expected.

Just for your thoughts, Harrop are currently developing a Detroit Truetrac diff centre as a direct replacement for the standard commo diff. Its supposed to be available early in the new year, at a better price and of better quality than the Kaaz units.

The Kaaz units get mixed reviews, so it might pay to keep an eye on the Harrop section of the forum.

Hi mate all the work was done by DPM (Dale Patterson Motorsport) would highly recomend him, he puts a %110 in on all jobs.
