I am posting this on behalf of my cousin.
2004 Black VZ SS Ute with 17000k's
Standard features include - Leather interior
- Climate Control
- Power Windows
- Tinted Windows
Modifications to the exterior include - 19 inch BSA Wheels with Hankook Ventus tyres - 245x35x19
Lowered with Pedders SSSS low Springs and Short travel Shocks.
Motor - Power Torque Engines custom built 383 stroker with all the bells and whistles. 2000k's on 383 motor
LS1 - 5.7
Eagle 4340 Steel Crank and rods, CP Forged Pistons, Ported and Flowed heads by Shane Alex at PT, Ferrera valves, Dual Springs, Titanium retainers, Custom Grind COMP CAMS Camshaft (Massive!). COMP Lifters, Yella Terra Roller rockers, Roller Master Double row timing chain, 42pnd Injectors, 500hp fuel pump, Baffled Sump, High volume oil pump, Custom MAfless Tune by Mark At PT. OTRCAI, Fast Manifold and 90mm Throttle Body,
Di-Fillipo 4-1 Extractors, High Flow 3 inch cats and twin 3 inch mandrel bent stainless steel exhaust.
4-11's supplied and fitted by Harts Transmissions.
Custom 5500rpm Convertor Shop High Stall.
Manualised 4L65 Auto Customised by Scott @ SureShift Automatics which included all the fruit. Pro B & M Shifter installled.
Power - enough to get the ute down to mid 10's
Performance - Ran a 10.9 @ 124mph at Willowbank with over half a tank of 98octane, wheel spin and was manually shifted. Received "the boot" before times could tumble.
Would be hard pressed finding a tougher sounding LS1 on the street!
The pictures below were from a magazine shoot prior to Installing the Larger Cam, 5500 stall convertor, FAST manifold and 90mm TB.
