Dr they are a copy of the Paranormal. Two things give them away -
1) Wheel nuts are visible

2) No black spokes between the silver ones...

Bargain with them, you'll get them cheaper than that.

*edit* Just read it again, it says they only come in 5x114.3 stud pattern. Might have to call them to confirm.

The chrome have an option of a 10" rear. I used to have them in 20x8.5" on my VZ Clubsport but they didnt suit the lines of the cars.

My wife who has never cared about car mods has given me strict instructions...NO BLACK RIMS....what would she know...

Bobjane have a wheel I don't mind in silver with a chrome lip 20x8.5 called Devino Bolt but I can't lift the picture from their site so that someone could photoshop for me.I used there section that lets you put the wheel you like on a red VESSV and I liked it.I am getting a price on those wheels with 255x35x20 Maxxis same as JK's tyre's and size.

So I will have a set of 4 brand new VE Clubsport rims and tyres going on ebay very soon.:)

they do look awesome but the offset is way too deep to fit them, the holden offset is 48 which means the rim cannot be that deep, they did this to have less unsprung weight.

Like any major cosmetic change it comes down to personal preference. The beauty of this medium is you get to see images on different colour cars.

I have the Walkinshaw 20" rims on mine yet when I bought them I was still not 100 % sure I had bought the correct wheels as I had only seen them on a silver VE SS (picture) and a white VE Calais. Once I had them fitted to my Red VE SS I was (and still am) over the moon

From where I sit, you'd definitely have to fit 22" rims on any VE, or it's really not worth it aesthetically. 20" just look way too small in that big a guard. It's like fitting 17" to a VS, or 18" to a VZ. "Dad-spec", as a mate once put it.

That said, most would say 22" aren't worth $4k either, so hey, what do you do?

The Verde 22" are the duck's nuts. Called 'Madonna', are they not?

Each to his own, to me 22" looks "pimp-spec" :stick: whereas 20s look just right.

I wanted tp put 22's on my new ve but am looking at 20's for every day drivin.. 22's just too expensive for me a this stage.. once ive made my mind up ill be right..

I'd love those ^^ on my Monaro! Chrome wheels don't do it for me, nor do wheels that are too busy. HSV / Holden make great wheels now, the y are hard to top. the SUpersports in Shadow chrome do it for me too!

Thank you.

What do you think of painting DTM Shines or flairs gloss black on the rim and matt black on the spokes? Thinking of doing this and putting them on my white ssv. If anyone can photo shop this I would be very interested in seeing the result.
