My Nephew saw this beast today and unless his photos are deceptive, it looks pretty awesome. Dealerships are closed tomorrow so I will be ordering on Monday. Wondering what options you guys ticked off

They certainly are a hot looking car.

It's a pity that they all seem to have that massive panel gap where the bonnet meets the front bar.

Seeing more of them every day. Saw at least 6 today. Every time I see one, I crack a little woody!:)

Can't wait to take one for a test drive on Monday. Should then decide which colour, but evoke is a goer at the moment.

Lucky you, I have to pay for it.

Thinking of number plates - PREVOKE - Hence the colour. I can spell provoke, just thought it would add a nice touch.

You could say I'm paying for it as well - being a director.
Not sure whether to wait and see if there is a wagon or not

Nice plate BTW :)

You won't regret it, those are monsters. My mate just picked up his Silver Nitro today. Was asking the dealer if he could bullet proof the windows and everything. Italian Mafia:rofl:. Just kidding. Box on Wheels.

havent even driven it yet, its the double cab model. Drove a single last year and it blew me away. I need something to tow a big trailer and it will carry everything when we go away this holidays - and tow the jet skis

Back to your original question. I would just get some real nice 20" wheels (store the standards) and kit it out with all the best anti radar and laser gear - something you guys arent allowed to do over there :)

oh and I would seriously consider getting it blown

Yep, love the Senators........subtle and understated.
I was looking at a black one a few weeks ago, then I ended up discussing an Evo X with a Mitsubishi dealer and have since changed my mind again to a TRD Supercharged Hilux.
With the cars I already have plus the girlfriend about to purchase a VE SS I thought I should go for a 4X4 as I need something to cart the hounds around in while fishing and playing on the sandunes.

Jeezus now you're being rather random! I can understand trhere are so many bloody choices out there depending on what you need/want.

i was thinking okay the Ram is too big. but I looooooove the sound of the V10 it goes fast and has good towing cap.
I thought of maybe an SS-V Ute and getting a cheap 4x4 tow machine - all for less than the Ram.
Then i had to sort an evryday driver in the way of the Senator. ah Feck it.

A TRD Aurion tho? :spew:

I'll just go get the Senator ordered on Monday and that will be it for a while:bawl:

That's why we went the GTS over the Senator ... I just couldn't get over that gap, it's probably just me. If it's fixed in 3 or 4 years I'll trade the GTS in and get a Senator then.

Congrats on the order, IMO Evoke is the best colour HSV has ever had, fantastic choice !!!

I looked at the GTS before and really considered it but the Senator is just what I wanted. The gap is bad, but it is a small price to pay for my first HSV.

Evoke is the best colour HSV has had and I hope that they really consider keeping it for the next few models. Would also look good on an SS V in my opinion.

I shall be saving up for new wheels and new catback extractors.

The lip soiler is soo classy, the Senator is probably the classiest HSV yet and that is why I chose it. Sure, the VE GTS is a future muscle car legend but the Senator subtledly slots into the VE lineup.

Things have changed since then Sonny, might have to be a standard Hilux instead of the Supercharged one as I'm putting a deposit down on a new house on Thursday.

And yes I'll definitely be doing some trips to Stockton with the Quad in the back.

Sucks to have money - Kidding, errr

I save up my money, invest, buy things I want and have earned. You don't cash buy cars unless you decide to empty your savings. That wouldn't be too smart, would it?

Don't buy my story, I don't need you to. I can sleep safe at night with my 3 cars, 4 soon and not give a brass razoo about your thoughts.

I agree. If you do own those vehicles, well done. But if you're full of shit, piss off! There are too many clowns coming on here saying they own this and that and cant back it up. Sure it's up to the owner whether they want to post up pics of their car or not, but being a car forum sooner or later someone is going to want to see a picture of it. Hence the icon "this thread is useless without pics"

Here are some of the 308 GTB at the Classic Adelaide, mostly stock except for a few interior mods. Want to keep it as original as possible in order to gain exceptional resale value:

Lotus is in for panel beating, someone didn't give way to the right and now the left door is smashed in badly. When she comes out I will take some. I might be able to dig out some ones when she was in SA. Fingers Crossed:)

As for the SS V:
