The cost of a replacing a Aerial

Guys, does anyone know the cost for a full aerial assembly from a vx ss, it doesn't have to be factory, but just good quality.

That would buy the mast only. Complete new ones are about $140ish retail (part no. 92149032).

I picked one up from Holden bout this time last year for $66 big ones. I think that was the mast only.

Make sure the part number is not prefixed by NG on the invoice (non genuine).
If genuine, I'd say someone buggered up (to your advantage) because they aren't anywhere near that cheap retail (around $120-140 depending on dealer).

Tax Invoice:

Parts supplied;

But service description says:

** REMOVED COVERS AND AERIAL
REMOVED AERIAL MAST & ROPE
& FITTED NEW MAST. REFITTED
AERIAL & COVERS - TEST **

I skimmed the invoice for parts prices and labour when I payed and reviewing it tonight, obviously I'm now not so sure.
Whatever was fitted, has a slightly different motor sound to the original unit, so I assumed it was a complete new unit given the part number.

I should have checked before replying to the thread. :confused:

92149032 is a complete new aerial, but 92140232 is the mast only, which is what their description said they replaced!
