:confused:Hi guys its time to give my a4 vx r8 clubby a edit before christmas. Can someone tell me were would be the best place for me to go as i am thinking of going to autotecnique but its to far as i live in the northern suburbs. He told me it would cost $990.00 for a maff tune and $1750.00 for a maff tune, and a hi-stall proberly a 3200 stall. As i have a complete exhaust system from extractors try-y's, hi-flow cats, sureflo 3.5" loud version, to a varex cannon adjustable noise muffler, k&n pod filter setup which seals under bonnet, and a 3.73 diff on a auto. I just have to get this tune done because my tranny is all over the place with the new gears in and my speedo is out aswell cant wait to get it done as i was hopeing to get around the 230rwks mark and get the tranny a more harder shift so it churps etc etc.

Melton has GM Motorsport, never heard anything but good reports.
Read the sponsors section and see where they are, if any of the sponsors were anything but top notch u would know about it, bad news travels faster than good.

You will be very safe with any of the forum sponsors.
I'd be looking at a mafless tune though.
Cheers,

mate i'd make the trip over to auto technique it is well worth it if you want one of the best, and you definetly won't be dissapointed with the results.

Northern suburbs to Rowville is nothing mate! SS6LV8 came down from the northern border to Chev's a week or so ago for an edit! Plus others have come there from places like Warrnambool - across town is a walk in the park!

Yes, Autotechnique is a great option. If you can hold off to early next year you could be one of the first through their brand new facility. On another note, they have my 3500 stally sitting in the workshop that you can have for $300 if you want. Add $300 for installation and you have an awesome stally, in your car for $600!

Hi leroy how long ago was this stall there at there work shop and how do you know its for $300 bucks as i would buy it straight away. Do you think a 3500 stall is to high as i was planning to go something like that.

HPF / G&D are both in the south east suburbs, they are both worth a look

Thanks for all your thoughts guys but i booked my car next friday for a tune maybe a OTRCAI and maffless will have to speak to mario and ross. Cant wait to see the difference in performance and the auto shift points looking very forward to it. Will let you know the results by the way has someone been to autotechique for only a tune on your ls1 with full exhaust, cold air, 3.73 diff did you see much difference after the tune and how far can they go to make the auto shift harder or is there a limit for that without damaging the auto internally.
