hi, ive just got given a holden engine and i think its a hq-wb engine and im wondering if you can list all companys that make gaskets and engine head and block components and how do you start those engines on the ground/bench to test run it, which wires do i have to connect where to do it. do i just use the starting wiring diagram

also how do i start a engine that has a ecu on the ground or bench to test run it to see if the engine is anygood, what do i connect, id probably have to use the engine management wiring diagram would i.

Im talking about ea-ba ford engines and vc-vz engines

You've got several rather different questions going on here. Perhaps break it up and put it in the relevant correct sections, to make it easier for everyone to respond...

We'd be here all day listing companies that supply gaskets and components.....

And by the time you finish frigging around, its probably easier to star the engines in a car, or a engine dyno.

ea-ba and vc-vz covers about 15 different engines, 6's and 8's. oh better make that 16 at a rough estimate.. forgot the starfire 4 and how would they all be the same to start?..
