2 speed Powerglide onto LS1, anyone did it before,

What box did you use? (6cyc or V8)

Any Help if you have done or know anyone that has done it??

what is the right converter?

i have L76 with a LHS starter conversion for a VL.

so there is a 10mm plate bolted on back of motor so the starter can be on the other side...

..

so will a V8 powerglide and normal V8 converter all bolt up sweet???

Just finished bolting one into a VZ with a cast block,i used a high stall but depends what combo you want to run,i also modified a manual gearbox mounting bracket to hold the rear of the box,gear selector is fairly easy to hook up if you have an auto just lengthen the shaft,we also fitted a larger sump but it does hang down a bit.

To choose the right converter ,select a company that makes them,there are several around (check the sponsors first) they will give you a data sheet to fill out with details about your car,like engine,diff ratio,tyres ect but high on there prioritory is your cam specs you must know these,then once they have all the details they will select a converter for you,trust them that is what they do,:)
