Ve Ssv Delivery Times

I recently ordered a new Nickle VE SSV delivery is 8+ weeks, while I've been dreaming of delivery of the new machine I was wondering what delivery times others have experienced?:1peek:

ordered my VE SS A6 and had it in a week.

Fellas, 8 Weeks is not to bad considering GMH has to start ramping up production for the G8 sedans to the US, plus Middle East, Asia and the UK. Then there the christmas shutdown, etc etc, all fun fun, however the positive, you get urself a 08 built model

I was told 6 weeks in late September, had mine in 4 weeks....So I wouldn't listen too closely to what you are being told!

I was told 6 weeks from the dealer.

I rang up Holden customer care a few days on and they said 8 weeks.

In the end the car arrived in 6 weeks (inc travel from Adelaide to Perth)

Its hard to wait for that long I know!

Got a call today, my wait is over, 8 weeks and a day, pick it up Wednesday, so I certainly can't complain.......... two more sleeps

Ordered A Morphius Purple SS A6 Ute last Sunday and was told not to expect delivery anytime before February, March.

Is a few months ago now but ordered my Phantom SS-V M6 red/black interior sensors etc on the 27/07/07 and picked up on 8/08/07 !

Was still a tough couple of weeks !!!! :rofl:

i ordered a Phantom SSV with Sunroof and DVD from factory and have been told Mid FEB - So 10 weeks from order date.......can't wait, already have CAI and JKGMH's binnacle gauges for it and have already put a deposit on some 20" rims and tyres.

oredered my ve ss ute on thursday, and they told me it will be ready the first week in feb. can't wait. already booked in to get lowered before i pick it up.

Ordered my first one. Got told 4 weeks, 3 weeks. Yay! Second one, got told 8 weeks, got it in 4. I was living in Adelaide when I got my first Ignition SS V but now living Melbourne and got the Atomic SS V within 4 weeks. Does this have anything to do with the location of the plant?

Update.

Got it Friday the 21st what a Xmas Prezzie! :)

Dealer called me completely out of the blue at about 10am in the morning, picked it up that night. So I think that was around 4 weeks wait.

4-8 weeks. You guys are lucky. I had to wait almost 5 months for my GTO from the ordering date to delivery.

Got updated by dealership on friday.. delivery is expected 20th of feb now.. it just keeps getting longer and longer..

I had to wait six weeks for mine. I could have driven one away without any of the options but i chose to wait 6 weeks. Least then i knew the car was brand new:).
