HEY PPL I WAS STUFFIN AROUND WITH MY CAR THIS ARV PUTTING A SET OF DRIVING LIGHTS IN THE FRONT BAR AND SOMEHOW I MANAGED TO SHORT SUMTHIN I THINK COZ MY AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON AND IT RESET MY STEREO.
ANY IDEA'S ON HOW 2 FIX IT?
IS IT DANGEROUS?
HELP!

Take it too a holden Dealership or auto elec.
is it Safe ??? not if you crash

My airbag light is on too. Mines on as a result of me turning the ignition on with one of the seats out (the pre-tensioner was unplugged)
Its been like this for about 2 or 3 months without issue.

dare say ill drop into my local holden dealer in the mornin see what trouble i caused lol
that bloody light is annoyin me and it's only been a few hours

First thing:
Check all your indicator and brake lights. I've read on here someplace that is the indication that one of your indicator lights have blown.

that thought did cross my mind as i blew a fuse and it wasnt on before i did that?
i checked all the light's fuses ect all seemed ok even tried dissconecting the battery for awhile

Same, but mines been on for 6-8months LOL
Doesnt worry me now LOL but i should get a Tech2 onto it

Mines the same mate, from taking the seat out at the LS1 Nats. Just too slack to get Tech2 onto it. I have the tuning software but you cant reset it.

Thanks Garry, i've gotta get my speedo reset at some stage for the diff gears i installed. Hopefully i'll get round to it sometime soon :lol: Otherwise, i'll give you a yell when i arrive :bow:

I'm too busy trying to work out what speed im doing to see the little red light :rofl:
naah not really, on a serious note, i've got those flame dials from somewhere, so the red light doesnt stand out as much as it used to. I still keep a check on it all though.

haha on a positive note i got my driving lights working
although i can see why auto electrician's are expensive
i may have saved myself a few bucks but it wasnt worth all the F##KS!!

yeah its a bit of a PITA.
i've always found it gets easier as you go.

yeah i swapped my steering wheel over to a vz maloo r8 one and stupidly drove it while plugged in but didnt clip the horn pad back in cause was just wanted to quickly make sure it was aligned and it fell and the plug came of with it so had my warning going for week now., it only shows srs light in bottom right, ill get it fixed next year they try sting ya $80 or 90 down here in ACT so not worth it
