White rims on red car ??

Im trying to be a bit different and go with white rims for my red VY SS

Initially i was going to go black rims, but i forgot about white and i think white rims look nice on a red car :D

peoples thoughts?

Ya i have a red car to and ive only ever seen 1 other Red car with the white mags and they looked Prime. Ill see if i can hunt up some pics .

yeah I was just about 2 say, white rims could work on a red car indeed, go V8 Supercar style!!! if ur gonna go for anything, I would go for the oz racing wheels personally!!! thats the brand I see on the HRT, TASMAN, & TOLL racing cars!!!

bloke here in traralgon that owns autobarn has a set on his vs autobarn car, said he would consider selling them if someone was after a set, but way back he got them from bob jane

i used to have a red AU ute, with white 19s on it up here on the sunshine coast, if someone can post the pics up for me ill email some to ya. I used to think it looked pretty good but its you own choice. I would def do it again if i had a red car but now its purple lol

just remember that although the right white wheels do look pretty damn decent they are an absolute biatch to keep clean... you will need to give them a semi decent wash at least once a week to keep brake dust and general road 'grime' from building up and causing permanent discoloring...

Its a good look, and i did consider white on red but im a lazy pr!ck and didnt like the idea of constantly cleaning them which is why i went with black. Heres a photochop courtesy of Holden Man which shows white SSV rims on a VY.
