Rear muffler cut out

Hey all,
Just wanna make the v6 sound a bit more grunty as the 2.5" system doesn't cut it anymore and haven't got the $$$ to go for the 3" system (legal issues too)! had a mate tell me that cuttin out the rear muffler is legal... not sure if it it is or not so b4 i do go ahead and get it done i wanted to ask some of you people for your opinion! my mates VN with the same exhaust system has done it and i gotta say it sounds pretty good for a shitty 6! thoughts anyone?

Anyone??? as im looking to get it done in the next few days :xmas:

On V8s cutting out the rear muffler usually leads to a better note but lots of drone. On a V6, who knows? :confused:

i can tell you from experience on a V6 it wil lead to droning, droning, and more droning. sorry but i think they sound bloody awful. same goes for a single 3 inch system on a stocker. and no, deleting mufflers is not legal, the car must have the same number of mufflers it had from the factory.

have you tried anything else? e.g. extractors, hi-flow cat, or adding another cat converter and effectively making a twin-into single system? would be relatively cheap to do aswell..
