The latest 3" di fillipo for VE

Just got my car back from BOSSONNOS with a new di fillipo system ,the one with the near on 1 meter center muffler. And I can say that the drone at 100 to 110 kph(1850rpm) is about 80% better than the 3" X force with only a slite deep burble . But with that the car is a lot quieter and does not sound as mean and has very little burble back through the gears .:bawl:
As far as power goes we have not put it on the dyno yet when we do I'll put both dyno sheets up,(the X Force & difillipo) but might not be for couple of days as we are waiting for the Russo otr.
And Dave said the extractors are very hard to fit:vpo: (the tured di fillipo extractors )because you can't get them around the oil dip stick.

Surely Di Fillipo wouldn't sell extractors that foul the oil dip stick :confused::confused::confused:

G' Day Ben I had X Force extractors and cats . The reson for changing is that I live in Kalgoorlie WA and I traval to Peath a lot which is 650km away and the X Force system just droned to much.And the Di fillipo does not drone at all. But I have to say if I lived in the city and don't do a lot of country driving the X force is the way to go because it's a lot cheaper and they do sound a lot better

No I havn't but Dave said he could hear me coming with the X Force but he can't hear me with the Di fillipo. But sh@t happens I'm not going to change it again it will have to do.

Cool, give it a bit to carbon up it gets a bit better, I had Delco do a few drive bys on light throttle sounded good, and then another mate some WOT passes , sounded really good.

Mind you ive never heard the x-force system to compare.

Same problems with the dipstick but Dan sorted it all for me.

Yeah, I had the same problem with the GTS extractors, but the Pacies that went on Saturday went on easily from what I saw.

That is all the fun of fitting a exhaust , invarably some part always needs to be modified.

Yes, all in the fun of fitting an exhaust, to tell you the truth I did expect the DF to fit a little better than they did (around the dipstick that is) other than that they weren't too bad, we just need to get some bigger tips as the ones DF supply are :limpy:, as long as you like the system Priddy that's all that matters.
