Does anyone think VY SS Rims would look decent on my green SS V? Can anyone do a photochop of a VE for me? Thanks all,

Neill.

Don't get me wrong, my HSV i20's are great, but I am getting a tad bored with them. Might move to VY SS wheels or VX GTS wheels.

Why go backwards?

Exactly.... IMO i thinkin that Wheels older than the car are a big no no...

If the aftermarket whell dont suit you, paint yours, or wait for holdens next release...

That just me

I wouldn't go backwards in the same class as your car, eg VE SS to VY SS, but going for HSV wheels on an SS I agree with, like VX GTS Wheels or somethin like that.

Personally I don't know what they were thinking when they designed the HSVi 20's, but hey, each to their own. My neighbour thought he was top dog with those on his VE Calais until I strolled in with my genuine VE GTS 20's (having them on my VZ added the icing to the cake).

You will be going from 20 inch rims to 18 inch! They will look a LOT smaller.
VY wheels go over smaller diameter studs than VE, and also have a larger centre spigot, so (a) you might have trouble even doing up the bigger VE wheel nuts, and (b) that bigger centre spigot diameter means your wheels will be fully loading up the wheel studs, potentially causing them to break and loss of insurance!
Stick to proper VE wheels.

That is all true, but I also reckon those tiny wheels would look s#it under those big flared out guards.
What wheels do you have on your Ferrari and your Lotus?

vx gts wheels are nice, but go for VY senator signature wheels they suit all holdens and are classy
