Sam and the boys have proven themselves to be able to build some very respectable LS1's / LS2's / SBC / BBC.

It is pretty rare when an engine of the blue variety comes into the workshop.

Especially when there are only a few of these in the country, and their owners don't just hand the keys over to anyone.

It was no suprise when Sam got the request to make this royal visitor purr ... :burnout:

^^ This is a badge that costs a small fortune

http://www.haroc.1337thing.com/ls1/Animal/Dec%202007/Shelby%20GT%20500/Cobra3.jpg

^^ How many workshops get to see a car of this calibre

http://www.haroc.1337thing.com/ls1/Animal/Dec%202007/Shelby%20GT%20500/Cobra1.jpg

^^ And how many professional tuners can actually deliver the goods

http://www.haroc.1337thing.com/ls1/Animal/Dec%202007/Shelby%20GT%20500/Cobra4.jpg

^^ Notice the red button on the gearknob ? it actually does something .

http://www.haroc.1337thing.com/ls1/Animal/Dec%202007/Shelby%20GT%20500/Cobra5.jpg

^^ It adds a shot of Nitrous to help the Paxton along

http://www.haroc.1337thing.com/ls1/Animal/Dec%202007/Shelby%20GT%20500/Cobra6.jpg

^^ Which makes this Cobra motor a very potent combination.

Sam's workshop gets a few royal visitors. Few trust their car with anyone else when we are in this kind of league.

The car was tuned and left today. Collectors tend to like to keep these thing private. Sam give the nod for these to be posted here

I will get the final figures up when Sam passes them to me. This kind of combo will deliver a more than acceptable level performance.

Quality Corvette's and Collectable Cobra's at Sam's - it's not just your average workshop here :xmas:

Eleanor is certainly looking good. No doubt she hammers when her skirt is lifted too!

Cheers,

Eleanor ... look at your fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine ass !!!

Rings a bell.

Ken ... does it have the "GO BABY GO" sticker for the nitrous?

An absolute work of art and Ford at it's finest.

these are the elenor cars, made by the same factory that made the cars foer the movie although they are not technecally orginal GT500s they are approved from Carol Shelby himself so can be call the GT500s, yes they do have the go baby go button on the shift nob for the nitrous and have other little tweaks such as the air vents on the side of the car actually serve a purpose whereas the orginal GT500s were blanked off inside the cowl and only for show.

Definatly a fine car in anyones lanauge and would definatly love to have it sitting in my garage.

And a Carol Shelby plate in the engine bay too

The Mustang Car Club love having the car visit too, it always attracts attention.

( Sam has a very soft spot for Mustangs ... shhhhhh )

The funny thing is Ryan, Sam the bugger never mentioned to me that it would be in the workshop. I was there to watch the Corvettes Big Block get setup in the Engine Dyno Room and almost walked past it  I had to do a double take.

And if Angelina was in Sydney mate, my woody radar would have been pointing the way :)
When she had that blonde wig with the spiral curls .... grrrrrr

( and as for the GTR v Eleanor decision .... Cobra 1 - New Datsun 0 )
