took the misses to work this morning had her phone with her, car reconised it after start up, showed voice in on screen and stayed on with slight crackling noise all the way until she got out. could'nt do a thing, cd or radio would not go on. this is the third time since getting the car 12months tomorrow. last time I turned phone off for a bit which fixed it.
has anyone else had this drama:vpo:

Yea I've had similar, but the dealer reckons I cut a cable putting the stereo in. I don't even use it anymore, as the Bluetooth was staying on after I took the key's out locking the doors. This would cause the battery to go flat, but it would reset the bluetooth along with everything else...

Ive had similar problems in my SS... Only upon finishing a call, it doesnt revert back to the CD/radio, it was just frozen on VOICE IN... It did it over and over until i turned my phone on/off, then it stopped... I thinks its moreso the phone than the stereo...

I have had the same prob with the SSV ute and LG phone. All i do is go into the bluetooth on the phone and select disconnect. the stereo comes back on and the phone still works. No need to turn anything off and on.

I have only had this issue twice in 4 months (once with an LG and the other with a Nokia N95). Turning the radio off did nothing but turning off the ignition and the restarting sorted it.

This might sound harsh but if you put a switch on the trigger line (located passenger side) The Yellow/Black cable activate's the mute to the radio or you could go one step further and actually place a switch from the battery feed. Orange/Black

To give you an idea of the plug.

with the plug terminals facing up.

A. Orange/Black - Battery feed
B. Black/Green - Earth
C. Yellow - Ignition feed
D. Yellow/Black Cellular telephone radio mute enable

As I always say, just confirm te information supplied as things can go horribly wrong if you not a handy sod with the electrics.

it sounds like a bluetooth module software issue?...try resetting the system by holding bluetooth button down (on top RHS of steering wheel) for approx 4 seconds. maybe get the dealer to have a look at your problem asap.
