Im looking into having silencers installed as i know its just a matter of time before my neighbours report me to EPA. Ive heard something about electronic silencers? Are these a bunch of crap or what....who fits them and how much would it cost to have it installed? Would i be better off going for the screw in silencers?

you could get a wortec muffler. The ones which have a solenoid to switch between open and loud or closed and quite muffler settings.....

definatly the best option if you want some quick and easy adjustment on your exhaust note... but certainly not the cheapest.
i guess the electronic silencers work in theory... but have never had any personal experience...
IMHO just wait until you get complained against... and in the mean time just dont do anything outside the loud car to piss you neighbours off...

Now that's a nifty nit of kit !!..might solve a few headaches at RTA random testing stops.
They flow ok on loud setting or is there some impedance still?
