Hey Guys,

Early next year I'll be looking at buying an R8. But I have a few Qs.

What has everyone been paying?
Should I buy a 06 plated one to save a few $$$
Should I wait until the Update ( when ever that is )

What problems have people been having with them?

I'll be buying a Black on with 20" GTS rims.
I'll also be buying the APS TT kit which is being released around March!!

Should be good.
Maybe not as quick as the rex, but I bet alot nicer to drive.
And RWD = Fun!

APS haven't released their VE TT kit.

Yes I have seen many of the TT kits installed and with great results on previous models.

VE R8 clubbies are goin from anywhere round $56-70k for both manual's & auto's!!! but most of them are goin for bout $65 on average!!! with the GTS wheels you can add a further $5-6 grand for genuine!!! then the APS TT kit is probably gonna be another $12-20k on top of that!!! alot of money pal, but worth it at the end of the day!!!

good luck with it, gonzo_88!!!

Alex, you should be able to pick up a new one for around $60-$65k.

Good to see you moving along from the money pit of a WRX

I know I should be able to get one with 20s for 60k. A friend of mine might be able to get it a bit cheaper.
I want a 6spd manual.

Also APS TT kit fitted is no more than 15k.

So for 75k I should have myself a nice 400rkw beast!

Still cheaper than my rex!
