The hornet is so depressing, let alone the super hornet.

SU - 37 is the way to go. The Australian gvmnt made a big mistake taking the hornets, super hornets, over this aircraft and considering the JSF will mostlikely never fly in my lifetime we are in a world of hurt.

That one is probably better than the Mirage F1 video which goes for about 20 minutes around Chad. Starts with Massive Attack, then Muse. It is very good too.

sorry but the raptor shits all over all the above. including the F-35 (although if that scene in die hard 4.0 is close to the truth, then theyre pretty close). unfortunately its probably just too expensive for us. did you seriously expect the Royal Australian Air Force to fly russian sukhois? not going to happen! they also have no stealth capability which will eventually render them obsolete. when you consider the super hornets are only an interim measure, and the very minor retraining pilots and ground crews will need to convert to the E/F over the current hornets, i think it was a sound move. although nothing will ever replace the beloved flying pig.

Yep and the avionics on board the Raptor are years ahead of the Su-37.

If you looked at what our neighbours are using and considering they have acquired the su - 37, we have acquired the super hornet as a gap filler and they arnt even in the same league. On a review by the gvnment the new hornet was the poorest rated fighter that was reviewed. As for the raptor , it will never be sold outside the US, as a few countries have recently been told they cant have the Raptor but they can have the JSF.
