For modified car owners

Now that i've been thinking about it, i think that car clubs such as this one (and many other like it) provide a positive influence to would be hoons. When i was younger, i was thrilled with just chasing more horsepower and having a car capable of faster quarter mile times and bigger burnouts.

Now that i've become more of an enthusiast however, I want a more comfortable, safer car. I want a more efficient car. I want IRS and LSD and traction control and ABS and all this cool stuff that ensures that i DON'T break traction.

Viewing all enthusiasts as hoons is clearly discriminatory behavior, and i can't say i'm too happy that people whom drive modified cars often pay higher insurance premiums because of the high accident rate amount the minority of hoon drivers.
