Holden Employee Car Show and Shine

Today I was lucky enough to be apart of the Holden Employee Car Show for 2007 at Fishermans Bend.

Not a bad turn out and the weather held for the duration. Was good speaking to the guys that design our cars. I had a good discussion with a couple of gentleman than develop Powertrain software... They were amazed with the level of extra features that are available in the after market operating systems. But seriously its like they live in a tin can, as they had no idea on what the aftermarket scene is capable of and were gobsmacked with the power a simple tune revise can make.. I think I may have educated them a bit when I bought the laptop out comparing my tunes to OEM ones. I asked them what the hell were they were thinking with the rocky mountain tables to which they dodged the question.

There were more fords there than there were commodores.. What does that tell you about Holden Employee's

Some quite interesting cars there. I was invited there a few times, many years ago, with the HDT Owner's Club (Vic)--it was always a good day, -- it was a special feeling just being on the Holden "hallowed turf"!

Steve's running a nice little cam in it too and a full twin 3 inch system with polished headers. Very nice.

I thought Holden's engine and transmission software was developed by Delphi (in the US) and Bosch (in Germany)?
