What paint?

Simple question.

Want to clean up some mild steel headers and was wondering what kind of paint to use?

clean em up with some gentle steel wool and turps/metho/wax & grease remover, then spray with VHT heatproof paint, from autobarn/supercheap/repco. i went through 2 cans to do my HSV headers but you could make do with one (i wanted to do cat pipes aswell). the flat colours have a higher temperature rating than the metallic/gloss ones so keep that in mind when choosing the colour.

ive had mine on for around 5-6 months now without a problem, i wipe them down about once a month with a wet old chamois and they still look like i painted them yesterday.
