hi steve here from townsville i am looking for a 308 motor to buy does any one have one

I believe my brother has one at his workshop. I will try and find out if the customer has decided on its future(customer had a 350 Chev fitted)

have a rebuilt long 308 motor turbo pattern +.040",flattop pistons,moly rings,cam/lifters(213@.050"),timing set,large valve blue/black heads(lt-1)springs,performance manifold,750 vac sec holley,water pump(s/h),commodore sump,flexplate.zero kms since build.$1750. have to cleanout my engine stock pile..cheers dave.can arrange freight if required.call me if interested 0428566683 im in ballarat vic.:)

thank you for you'r help i am running a m21 gear box when you find out what is happening to the 308 if it is suitable for the manual i would apreciat hearing from you thanks steve ps happy new year

thank you dave can you please tell me if the turbo bolt patern is the same as the m21 manual pattern thank you for you'r reply regards steve ps have a good new year.

Turbo bolt pattern is different to M21 and Traumatic
You will be able to get a new bell housing for your manual that will bolt up to the turbo400 pattern motor - just remember to ensure you have the correct brass bush in the clutch end of the crankshaft to suit manual as auto and manual are different
