Power!!!!!!!!all produce similar powers between each other on a dyno...
all similar prices
the Russo seems to be slightly better on the track based on results but the others arent too far behind.
each has pros and cons on the designs, air intake locations etc
what do u want out of it?
do u want something for the drag strip, something for the street, something easy to install service, something to look good, etc etc
asking which one is better is like saying which one is better between a SS, SSV, CalaisV V8....all great cars with same V8 power but all are very different to each other
just to throw another one in the mix....i have another air intake on the way early january

Surly the forum member are more adult than that. It does not need to turn into a "mines better than yours" discussion. I'm sure where all mature enough to talk in a civil fashion. I'm considering which one to get but it would be great if everyone could post there experiences with the various models for forum members wanting to get an OTR.

They will all work to some degree. I havent even seen the Orrsom or CSV models (apart from photos)so im in no position to comment on them.
I have however seen the Russo otr up close and in action plenty of times, and know a bit about them.
Heres some real facts:
Of all the VE otrs available, only one is designed and maufactured by a forum sponsor.
The fastest bolt on ve in the country by a large margin utilizes the Russo OTR.
There are NO water ingress issues with the Russo OTR...water does not like going uphill...think about it.
Other well respected and knowledgeable tuners and forum sponsors choose the Russo OTR over other versions.
Take from this what you will :)

Russos sound the best to me and Ive never had a CAI, believe it or not, but when I do get one I am planning on seeing Street Tuna for one.

Which H/C is best? which exhaust is best?, which tuner is best?
and which toothpaste is best?
I can see how each would appeal to different people, requirements & taste.
Horses for courses guys.
It's too early in the game anyway. Look at the VT~VZ OTR's, which one is best? "Best" is relative regardless.. Lot's of hard work on the hardware and tuning side for all concerned, for all these products, i am sure thay are all fine products. Choice is a great thing! and gracious rilvarly is good too.

Sorry guys that I cant contribute in a big way but I had the Russo OTR installed yesterday with a Mafless tune and geez my car drives so much nicer than my previous pod setup.
When I say nicer .. it just is so much smoother and the car feels so much more responsive. I dare say the tune has a lot to do with this as well.
Mine is a daily driver and I look for mods that will enhance the cars performance without sacrificing anything.
I cant comment on fuel economy or anything else as its too early to call but what I can say is that I love it.

I like the look of the Russo but worry about having my radiator on such an angle but it looks like it would draw in plenty of cold air.I know someone in Perth did back to back strip tests of the CSV then Russo and found Russo about 1 tenth quicker so not a huge margin .I would like to see how morrano's unit performs and see what happens on some other VE's before I decide.I will be also very keen to have a look at another one about to hit the market in Perth to see how that stacks up.Either way all the ones out now seem good well built just pick the one that tickles your fancy I dont think you can go wrong with any of them.

Unless you have an independent test of all three on the same vehicle and a retune after each it's just speculation. They all probably do a similar job, just depends which one takes your fancy.

Wise words Duncan,
blondes v brunette's v redheads
Best is - what suits you / what you can afford / what outcome you want
Some idiot will come here soon and tell you a whipple is best
Thats just how it goes

Beautifully put! Given all the sh*tfights lately about these and other things then in particular given you are the provider of one of the OTRs in question I commend you on such a sensible and gracious approach!

Very important point right there. The only products that are any good are manufactured by forum sponsors. Everybody knows this. :teach:
All you people using Difilippo or Xforce exhausts should be ashamed of yourself!! :nono: Same as anyone with a K&N Filter, any Lunati gear, Diamond pistons, etc etc etc....its all CRAP!! :slap: WHAT were you thinking!! :vpo:

They're your words not mine...i was simply stating FACTS, of which there has been very little of in all the other VE otr discussions

These things get discussed a zillion times over and and as has been said it really comes down to personal preference.
