Thanks Ignition, I was left thinking that.
I assume that even though the service book identifies a filter every 40,000, that these are long life fillters (is it 200,000k as I saw on another thread?)

40,000 will be sedans, wagons and regular utes. I thought they were 100,000 for these.

Yep thats true. they use a filter in the mra...you more likely to have a fuel sender failer b4 fuel filter getting bloked.

I have just finished replacing a VY crewman cross 8 fuel filter. It is a MRA in tank filter similar to the Kia Carnival, Kia had the sense to put an inspection cover over it for quick and eazy replacement, Holden didn't, At first thought you may think that you might get away with dropping the fuel tank, but no, there's not enough room unless you want to remove tail shaft exhaust and dif. But in reality you have to remove the canopy if fitted then the bed liner then the tray. What a mission. This crewman had 200.000 kms on it the fuel filter was totaly blocked

Hi guys and Gals, does anyone know if someone has adapted their Crewman and fitted an access panel, if so any photos?
