First Upgrade Ideas?

Hey,

I’m only just starting in the V8 world and the wonders that performance upgrades can do.

I drive a
GEN III 5.7L V8 2000 VX SS Commodore with 60,000km's

I want to do some upgrades as every thing is still basically stock standard.

Can any one recommend some of the first upgrades I should look at doing?

OTR, than a full catback system with headers, than an edit plus diff gears. After this go for aggresive cam and the heads package. Next step would be a 9 litre LSX block. If this is not enough, go twin turbo. I don't think you would need to go any further than this but if you wanted to you could use NOS:)

Welcome to the world of V8s! :) The first thing you'll be asked to do when asking such generalised questions is :search:. Everything you need has already been asked and answered a million times over. However, bear in my that there is no one correct answer that covers everybody.
