hi just need some help my mate says he owns a genuine vr Verlina from the hsv factory im not really up on holdens but as far as i new there is no such beast does anyone no if my mate is just full of bs or hes telling the truth anyway any info would be appreciated

There is no such thing as a HSV Berlina.

1st thing you ask your friend is does the car have a "HSV Enhanced" plate.. If Yes. ask for the numbers on the plate and contact HSV.

It could also have a "HSV Performance Enhanced" under the Berlina badge on rear.

Doesn't seem to be as popular these days, HSV enhancements were fairly common back in the early ninties. An old neighbour of mine had a VP Berlina (I think) with a few enhancements (with the plates). I guess there's plenty of aftermarket that does the same job nowadays, cheaper.

I had a sv125 which is a berlina wagon
in the early days of HSV you could take you car to HSV and the would mod it for you
if so it will have a build plate in the engine bay and hsv enhanced badge on the dash
