Waiting for my Brake system i just perchased from Holmart, VZ HSV 4 piston front & rear. Getting the Calipers painted hot house green, vz guards fitted, de-badge whole car/add new badges, Chev grille painted hot house green & new boot lid with no spoiler, All getting done this week!

better off taking ur car around barbagello or going to a test n tune session where they run the V8supercars and take ur car for as many laps in 2hours as u want as well as access to the skid pan setup...more fun, can get some nice slides going in ur car, dont have instructor braking, etc and spoiling ur fun.
a test and tune cost $50...

for 2laps in there car is under $200 + video cost....2 laps is no where near enough to enjoy it

Cant wait to take it for a spin, DAMN! nearly forgot Mark said 1st to 2nd is starting to slip, His Phrase was a few high rev gear changes and it will brake, drive it normal it will last. I was going to get the gearbox done but running out of money, i will be getting one built within 3 - 6 months. So cant really push it to its full potential :bawl: All i got done was the difillipo dual 3inch & 1 7/8 tuned headers, M122, 3:7:3 ratio. OH and the benical gauges with Boost and Oil pressure. Its running on 10 PS1 until i do the tranny and get the engine breathing! EXCESSV pm me your mobile mate!

Also spoke to Stone Racing and there fixing my tranny problem. Doing an exchange for one of theres built to suit 500rwhp for when i do the Head, Cam & Forgies and be up at that figure. What i'm realling looking forward to is the TOURQUE! Just a bit over a week to go!

You guys listen to much to internet dyno numbers , real world 420 rwhp is a good result for a auto with a m122 , all too often we see customers who are told they have 400+ rwhp , when strapped on a proper dyno and run properly they always disappoint the owners
number wise.

when john does head, cam, forgies etc the Stone Racing box built for 500rwhp might be getting close to its limits so why not go something that can handle some more power to be able to comfortably do it and also hold up future mods too

Not slipping on the dyno , I have it firmly locked in 3rd gear , the box only flairs slightly on a 2-3 change after 2 -3 hard shifts in a row.

You will have to go to York mate, It's there until i fly down on the 6th and pick it up and drive back to Perth, I might have to visit Delco when the new box goes in, Mate have to sort out the Normal/Power shift buttons. Stone Racing said they will be getting it to churp 1st - 2nd, 2nd - 3rd, See how it goes might need Delco to change minor things, Maybe...

Torque , irrelevant on a chassis dyno as it is more influenced by diff ratio and gear other than as a comparison to before and after gains.

SUFFICE TO SAY MIDRANGE TORQUE IS VASTLY IMPROVED :)

Sorry for th long delay for an update, it has been a real busy holiday, Well wouldn't call it a holiday! a special sorry to EXCESSV. Mishy wasn't coming so thats why i never contacted you plus was always on the go never even had time to see famiy, BUT when i did go to the photoshoot they had organised two other models for me :). Now for the car there is problems with the Belt, At high rpm or when its bouncing of the rev limits, twice the belt has came of and onces it ripped a strip of because it was trying to slip off, That happened when Dan from chipmaster took it for a drive to suss it out and to see how the new gearbox goes aswell. It is true what Dan says, He gets to drive the cars harder then most owners, Well in my case for now until the belt issue is sorted out, then i will be driving it hard/harder :) feels a bit faster sitting in the passanger of someone thrashing your car :) I arrived in York today because i have organized with Mark to have a look at it tomorrow (Sunday). So will let use know what the problem with the belt was once it is fixed and sorted, Mark thinks that it needs a stronger Spring loaded pully, only time will tell...

For the photoshoot with Trevor from Perth Street Cars that was pretty good, Dont ask me where we went because i just followed him. After that shoot i went to BW Media for a shoot with Street Machine, That one was in a studio and thats where i had a suprise waiting for me, 2 suprises infact.

Also i paid a visit to John from Street quick just to introduce myself and let him know i will be back in Min 6 months Max 12 months For a Stroker package Then i shouldn't be far of from finishing the car. Just a bit more interior mods and boot.

The pod is custom made by Alberts in fibre glass, The leather was done by my good old mate Steve who also done the Green leather inserts on all 4 doors, It's an interceptor gauge by the way.

Second time i have broken the tentioner, this time i snapped it from the pully, Mark is sending me up another again and also along with a few belts that i need to find the Shortest one that will fit. If its nt that its the aggressive shift of the trans, churps 1st 2nd 3rd drive! 20inch rims new tyres :)

Car is finally sorted, the problem with the belt and tentioner braking was the H Balancer the nut was loose, like i mean i could loosen it even more with my fingers, Could of been coarsed by the extra load from the charger maybe and they dont come out factory fully tightened, got that tightened up. Also another little problem that wouldnt of help was that the air intake pipe was rubbing on the pully directly under it. Car has been driving hard the last 2 days and if it was going to come of it would have already!

G'day Everyone, just a very late update with the car.

MWS has fitted the 6 Speed manual and a Tru Trac from SQP, orignally had 37s so i though going manual may aswell throw a set of 39s.

Can't wait to save some funds for the Engine + Shed then i'll bring her back home!

How cum you put Executive lights on it bud? The SS lights were way more aggressive with that Monaro bonnet..

Reason being i am getting that crystal lite done. Which is tinted lights and because there is no black in them now it will even it out when it is tinted.
