Looking for Stripes...

Hey guys, I've got a Blue VE SS and the mrs & I are trying to figure out whether the Holden Track Stripes look good on the Blue ones or not? We've seen plenty in the other colours but none on blue. I was thinking that the Black stripes would be difficult to see but am keen to hear your opinions. Pics would be great!

I've seen a blue with black stripes, doesn't look bad at all. The black stripes are matt, so they're hard to miss.

I really like the stripes period, because it breaks up the shape of the car a bit. We have the silver stripes on our black and it looks pretty awesome.

Gonadman, I have a couple of photos that will help you but I have not done enough posts to upload link or PM you. Please PM your email or can anybody assist?

Track stripes on blue are quite subtle and only stand out in light conditions, they blend in and are more difficult to see in shady/overcast conditions.

Whilst I am not yet sold on the idea of stripes on other colours, quite like it on blue.

you can play around with different colours and adding track stripes and even optional whels on an SSV on the holden website here http://www.holdencampaign.com.au/configurator_holden/configurator.jsp

you just have to scroll down on the choose a model menu so you can see what black and silver stripes look like that way, my favourite is a morpheous one with silver stripes and the 20" supersports

I didnt like the track stripes much when they came out , theyre slowly growing on me and the black on blue doesnt look too bad either.

Just because it doesnt float your boat doesnt mean others dont like it and judging by how many i see around the place these days your in a minority , go find your rock and crawl back under it and maybe when youve grown up a little attempt to contribute something usefull. :flipoff: :soap:

Surely you can appreciate that there are plenty of things that you may not like, that others do. That is what happens in a free world where people are allowed to express their own ideas.

Personally, I think the stripes are okay, but not really my cup of tea. I'd be interested to see white on the dark blue - it may look fairly good, reminiscent of the 70's munros in dark colours with white stripes.

Personally I like the track stripes .. make mine orange over silver!!
