Ive seen prices around the $500-600 supplied and fitted. Talk to the Sponsors in your area as they would have done 100's of them.

You don't have 918s
You have Pac Racing 1218 from Fraser @speedinc in the states .
A more reliable spring then the CompCams 918s .
Expect to pay $150-$200 to fit them .
Very easy to fit yourself if your handy with a spring compresser and and using the TDC method .

if you are somewhat mechanically minded and can handle a set of tools have a go yourself.
www.ls1howto.com has a very detailed article on cam swap which details valve spring change. Spring compressor, I got good price on snap on $80.00

made this valve spring compressor for $3.50
better than the screw down one's as they can't do the double valve springs...
piston at top dead center and off you go ..one by one...just take your time..

Buddy, if they dont "have the tools" then they dont deserve to call themselves mechanics. There are no special tools required other than a spring compresser. And for any competant mechanic, a spring compresser isnt a special tool.
You should be speaking to a few of our sponsors.
