Hid 8000k H1 Globes.

:smilesandbanana:Can someone tell me will HID conversion kit globes fit in the socket of a vx berlina, calais after market monaro lights, as i might think the socket hole is not big enough for the hid as my globes are H1 as i want to buy a set and hoping they will fit.

yes they will fit, i just converted all mine over to HI/Lo HID headlights, best thing i ever done.

How many k did you get like 6000k, 8000k etc and do you have pics thanks mate. Would you also have a pic of your HID GLOBE.

factory globes on mine are H4 Lo/Hi on the outside and H1 Hi on the inside. I have converted Both the H4 and H1 over to HID both are 8000k. I havent got any photos of the H4 globe but the H1 globe is exactly the same as the one you posted.

So they are the ones i should buy and what do you mean by H4 Lo/Hi on the outside and H1 Hi on the inside as mine will only take H1.

The standard VY headlights use H4 Lo/Hi beam on the outer globes and also uses H1 Hi beam on the inner globes(closest to grill)

My inside and outer globes are both H1 i think.

not sure how it would work then with H1 in both globes as i thought that you had to have atleast one of the globes capable of doing both the Lo AND Hi beam and then another sperate globe that also did Hi beam.

There is no way they will fit as i only want to change the projector light middle light only not the hi beam i will leave that one as i already changed the parkers which are on the blue side already.

ok if you only want to change the H1 globes then it is very simple to do, i bought a conversion kit from ebay that simply plugs in to the wiring you have now, took me about 20 minutes to fit it all up.
