Third Garage!! What would you get??

Hi All,

It's been awhile.. I used to have a mint condition VX GTS and a MY00 WRX, but I found it a pain in the arse to keep moving one each morning as they were parked in front of each other, so I sold both and bought a brand spankers MY07 STi.

Fortunes change and I'm in the process of building a new house with a triple garage, so now I can get another HSV or V8 of some sort. I'll keep the STi as it is an awesome machine.

I've had a think of what to put in the third garage my list includes;

VS GTS
CV8 SIII Monaro
GTS Coupe

What do you reckon?? The VS is obviously the cheapest and oldest, but fark they sound good. The Monaro would be a good base to play with and the GTS Coupe, well, that would just be great - but it is the priciest.

Any other suggestions?

The car would be for cruising, not the track (that's reserved for the STi)

Not really, they're still a bit pricey for what I want - could be a goer though.. is the GTS worth the extra $$ or just go the R8?

Personal choice I know, but I would either get CV8 V2 Series 1, CV8 VZ Series IV or HSV GTO VZ.

Series III Monaro with mods would be my pick, awesome car for cruising around in and wont kill the hip pocket. Basic Bolt ons, a brake suspension/ upgrade and a nice stereo should make a really nice compromise. I would also get one with a Sunroof, I love mine! :bow:

Yep...

Monaro would be my pick. I've got 4 car garage, and i reckon you can always use the extra spaces in future.....like the new Nissan GTR parked next to the VE GTS:)

I'd go a Monaro / Coupe, you have the small turbo track weapon, you need a V8 in there somewhere. Otherwise, as Tully said, can't beat a GTS and a GT-R side by side !!!

NickS - You are right sir!! the 3rd spot is for the missus!!

Can't make up my mind, the house wont be finished for a fair while yet, so I've got time to suss things out.

I think I do have a soft spot for the smooth lines of the Monaro, could pick up one of these and then spend some coin on making it sweet - or just go the GTS coupe and be all done with it!

i have a real soft spot for the VTII GTS 300KW limited edition in black....all it needs is a touch lower and perfect :drool:

but for the ones u have put up....HSV GTS coupe....easy one....a two door HSV v8 :drool: or better yet a black HSV Coupe4 like NickS one :drool::drool::drool:
