Is this normal?

I have a VZ Calais. When I start it I have noticed that its revving a bit harder now. It Idles at around 1.2k revs! I should be worried right? Or is it just the hot weather?

Its an alloytec190.

I know it's not the same engine but my ecotec in the VS does it too, then it settles down after about 20 seconds or so.

I don't know the tech details but 1.2k is very high..

yea it sounds jus a lil odd i kno mine did that often but that was cause the cable wasnt retracting but hmm sounds like it might be worth a lil look see
