Hi LS1 members today i am preparing my OTR for this week for fitment. With the radiator, and aircon condenser which has to be modifyed or bashed lower so the OTR fits lower for more bonnet clearence. With bashing down these two can there be damage done as i did it nice and slow just would like to know if there are any down sides in this mod thats all. And today i went to clark rubber to buy 1 metre of pinchweld mould $9.78, rubber grommet $0.95, strip of neoprene about 400mm long, width 75mm $2.78, for clamping down OTR to throttle body, and a strip of ep self adhesive foam $4.97, for bonnet so it does rub on OTR intake all up $18.48. So the OTR cost me $150, k&n filter $93, and clark rubber accessories $18.48 all up $261.48 not bad at all i am pretty happy with that will let you know once its on and maffless tuned results. Cant wait to see the difference if there is any.

Hi victim00 its a piece of cake when you know how to do it. I go to calder about once a month just to look not drag, but when my car is finished different story will be doing runs all night once a month and i will put up some pics when finished hopefully very soon. Hopefully i will go for a flat 13s.

Yeah i just go to have a look too at the moment, don't have the dough to break something and not be able to go to work!! We should organise a friday when we are both going down and go in tandem or something. Just a bit hard for me at the moment as I am working most friday nightshifts but i do have one off soon. If you are interested, let me know as I would like to see what you have done with the OTR. Did you end up going MAFLESS or not???

I've decided to go MAFLESS without a OTR and a custom cold airbox instead, will be interesting to see how they compare against each other.... Just have to put the twin highflow cats on and get it tuned now, more $$$

Sounds good mate what makes you change from a OTR.

I realise that an OTR would probably flow more air but wanted to try something a bit different to what a lot of others are doing and seeing how it goes. Will more than likely put the OTR back on later but enjoy mucking around with different things at the moment.
