twin 2.5 X force systems for $399
try and find some second hand headers on ebay or there is always some F/S in the classified forums
and get your standard cats opened up

Perhaps waiting a few months until you can (possibly) afford a better system would be a wise decision.
I've seen that many people buy a cheap system due to a cash flow issue, just to take it off a few months later and put on the type they really wanted to begin with!
It just ends up wasting money you could have put toward something else.
I know it's not the answer you were asking for, but at least consider it...

Another vote for the Sureflo 3.5" single from me, but there are a few threads on here if you do a search and you'll get many varied opinions on exhaust options, but for me like I said for a minimal amount a 3.5" cat back is the go, but beware, extractors and hi-flow cats are sure to follow...
Cheers
