I have a busted door actuator in the VT (drivers side) and was wondering if anyone has replace this themselves, and if so, any pros and cons - level of difficulty etc?

I have changed all the actuators on 2 VN's and they are a tricky job however not too hard. I can't confirm whether the VT would be the same.

I took one look at mine after the arms snapped off the actuator and the window slid down into the cavity - off to the mechanic she goes.

Like anything new the first time around it took me about 3 times longer than it should have while I worked out what had to be undone, what connects to what etc. Subsequent ones I reckon take less than an hour now. If you have half a clue on how to use a screwdriver it's not hard.

The last one I bought was about $40 second hand as well.
