Saw a 2 door Commodore/Monaro down at Robe over Christmas. It had AWD badges on it and lots of body kit.

Do these exist or was I seeing things?

cheers

I would say that it was a HSV Coupe 4.
As they came out in AWD.. I dont think Holden did 1 at all...
Only in the Adventra..

I was at a car yard over the weekend & they had a VZ Exec.
But with a 6lt V8 in it.
Interior was all exec, outside was just std exec.
But had the V8 badges on the lower front guards & the selling paperwork
in the front window said it was a 6lt V8....

I didnt think that you could even order a exec with a V8????

This one did. Its what made me look twice because I'd never seen a commo coupe with AWD before.

I suppose the AWD would be good if you did a lot of dirt/gravel road driving etc.

As far as I remember the Coupe4 did have some AWD badges on it (at least the boot/backend anyway). I could be wrong but I'm sure it did.
They're an awesome looking coupe and from what I remember of all the reports I read on it the AWD system worked wonders in it and apparently would've given some the better Euro AWD cars a run for their money in regards to driveability.

Maybe someone just stuck on some nice little Subaru or Magna "AWD" chrome badges, to make it stand out a little more.

Nope ... no AWD badges anywhere on the Coupe 4 ... I guarantee it.
