Hello to everyone first :)
Im new to these forums but not so new to LS1 motors (though by no means am I an expert)
I have done a few search's but have found nothing to my satisfaction.
I will start off by saying what car I have, I own a 6 speed manual VX clubsport with a V2 supercharger with front mount intercooler and 42lbs injectors with inline fuel pump (the CAPA gilmer power steer kit) and a 2 bar tune. and comp 918 valve springs
tex clutch (single plate) and a twin 3 inch stainless system with 1/7/8 headers. ripshift etc...
Anyhow most of that is irelevant for my question.
I am wondering what is the best way to spend 25k on mods, My idea is to sell the charger and cooler and injectors, fuel pump, and go for something completely different. I was reading about the LS1 turbo TTR kits and I liked the sound of them, and was also looking at the fuel system (I know must be a definite), but wasnt sure what to do with motor specs??
Im not sure if I should leave it with standard stroke with cam and forgied etc
or stroke it? 383 or 402 or 408?
Like I said I have 25k at the moment and then whatever else I get for my charger and intercooler injectors etc...
What I am asking is for some advice, or any information from people that have been down this track?
What are some good ideas? please
Oops I forgot to state what I want it for, it is driven on weekends, mainly a fun car, but I would like to take it to the drags and enter it in dyno comps now and then (approx 550rwkws max if possible), all be it not run it at full power all the time, just be able to up the boost when i need to for comps etc and so it can handle it and not blow up :)
and then run acceptable power on the street (approx 400-450rwkws)
