Hi guys is it worth fitting MSD ignition leads to a 5.7 and would i gain anything by fitting them as i heard you can get up to 8 rwks on the dyno.

its just a load of crap!
i wouldnt bother unless your current leads are stuffed.
8kw will be unnoticable. it would be like taking your cd case out of the car!

Thats true i just thought it might be worth a go as its only $135 and might be a good cheap mod.

I'd measure the resistance of the current leads first. Std is 800 ohm. Try moving the leads around as you measure them to check for any cracks, a waving needle on your gauge will soon pick up a fault. It is a common fallacy to think that aftermarket leads are better ...ain't necessarily so. If you haven't got a multimeter, time you bought one ..only about $25 at Supercheap.
