G'day,
Was wondering what you guys reckon is the best fuel for the 6.0L?
There are a million different types of premium juice now.... hard to choose!
Cheers,

After a bit of a search, it seems that BP Ultimate holds the majority of the vote.....

Another fuel thread! This has been well covered...
Just buy premium whatever from a "volume" servo, so that's it's always fresh and still high in octane.
That's more important than the brand really, especially on something that isn't tuned to the point of near destruction in the quest for big dyno graphs!

i recon BP ultimate or Shell V-power and i agree with planetdavo on the high turn over servo's so if always fresh
There's an independant study been done into 98RON fuels in Australia.
Vortex98 won. Followed by Mobil and BP (about the same) and Optimax (or V-Power lol) was a distant last.
Wonky

all fuel usually comes from the same refinery so dont worry about brands
98 is 98, 95 is 95 etc
but for a SSV standard any 95 will be fine but you may see a slight improvement with 98

I ONLY use BP Ultimate.. after having bad experiances with shell in the past.. If i cant get to a BP I will use Mobil 8000 but thats only happend probably once.. Id get my car towed to the next BP before I put Shell fuel in my car.. Fuel discounts didnt help shells fuel much niether.
