i know this is going to sound like im a moron.....but i would like to know what would be the correct operating levels for the three centre guages in my gts.
I have read the car manual and it's not mentioned, and it's bugging the shit out of me!

I'm probably a moron too. I've been wondering exactly the same. It seems a little odd not to set out in the manual what the normal operating parameters are. I too would like to know.

In my SSV the volts gauge sits on around 14.2 - 14.3 Volts when cruising, the oil pressure sits between 1 bar and 4 bar. 1 bar = 15psi so from 15 psi to 60 psi. Cruising between 2 and 3 bar (30 to 45 psi) generally.
Not sure about your other gauge - oil temp I think it is ?

With mine I've got the HSV triple setup in and mine read:
COLD:
Battery: 15v when first started
Oil temp: obviously 0 degrees
Oil pressure: dead on 4bar
HOT cruising:
Battery: 14-15volts
Oil temp: 90c cruising and 110c after a squirt
Oil pressure: 3bar cruising and 2bar or there abouts idling at the lights. But goes back up to 4bar when spirited driving..

I realize a bit of a dig but I thought I'd bring it back to life again to see a few more results

Only thing different for me is the oil temp can go up to 140+C when on the track with the turbo. I have since fitted a oil cooler but have yet to properly test it out.
