I have heard heating them gently with a Hairdryer softens the adhesive
enabling you to peel them off. Would't mine knowing for sure
myself, as I am thinking of removing my VX SS badges, but not
replacing them :)

old eftpos card wrapped up in an old t-shirt works a treat.
then just hit the remaining glue etc with some prepsol.

I am useless when it comes to this kind of thing, but i read on another forum once that dental floss might also work to pry the badges off without damaging the paint.

i heard that to but wasnt it fishing line?
I left my car in the sun for a couple of hours and then used a bit of fishing line to cut through the tape at the rear of the badge and they came of fairly easily and then used household kersen to remove the adhesive left behind, it worked well. I then polished the area and replaced the new badges

haha! Okay - it seems i confused fishing line with dental floss.
Could explain the bloody gums and stinky breath.

vunorro, do yourself a favour and check the price of the badges
with Holden before you purchase them off ebay, I know the
VX ones on ebay are dearer than what I payed Holden for
them :)
