Hi Guys,
Basicly today I started to look at Gen 3's to use for in my v8 wrangler conversion and after looking at one I wanted to know if there was anything I should really look out for.
Im not technically familiar with the engines and was looking for abit of knowledge and wisdom on common problems and issues that I shouold be wary of.
The one I looked at today was a pranged 2002 vx executive, auto, 140,000k's, on gas (conversion was done 6months after it came of production line) and the guy wants $4500 for the whole car (rear damage and minor drivers front, engine fine and runs)
The questions I basicly had where:
- Do Gen 3's on Lpg wear quicker then those not on Lpg?
- Should I be nesitant of a gen 3 on Lpg?
- Are there common problems associated with gen 3's that I should be aware of?
- Is 140000k's alot for a gen 3 and should I be looking at ones with lower k's
and basicly any other infomation i should probly be aware of before purchasing anything.
sorry for all the questions and any info or advice would be much apprecited..
Thanks
Ryan
