Rattle from gearstick

I get a rattle through my gearstick through most my gears when accelerating and also sometime when im sitting on about 2500 rpm? its in my VU SS and it has had it ever since i baught it, i dont know if its just a knob or something else. Anyone had this problem/ know how to fix it.

Do a search in LS1 Powertrain Technical section. There are a massive number of threads on this. Type in gear rattle, lever rattle, shifter, buzz, and others I can't recall...

My Monaro also has this shifter rattle and it seems to be a very common problem, but I havn't yet done anything about it.
