best auto box for LS1?

Im builing my Ls1 and wondering what box to go with.. wanna keep it auto, but unsure weather to get the 4l60 built up or to convert to a turbo 400?

if you're not running big power buy a brand new 4l65e.

Hi Mate

Stick with the 4L60, just take it to someone who builds performance gearboxs
and tell them the mods and the power you have planed in the future.

If you are going to drag race the car let them know, just to make sure they will warrent the box if it fails.

Get a trans cooler if you don't have one, B & M do a great cooler, not cheap but worth the money.

so the 4l60e are plenty strong enough for pretty big power once there built up.. i live in brisbane mate

If your in brisbane mate go to sureshift they are a sponser on here, they have done more than a handfull of 4l60 boxes that run tens over th 1/4 mile.
