Hoping someone can help. I'm looking to fit the VY/VZ main power window switch assembly to my VL as the factory switches are dead and I'm not paying $150+ for second hand, or $350 for new. I can get a VY switch assembly for under $80, just need to know the pinouts so I can adapt it to the VL wiring. It has been done, but the person who does the fit won't pass on the details I'm after as he does it as a business and doesn't want to share his knowledge. If I can get the wiring diagram I'll be fine wo do it myself. Let me know if you can help.
Cheers.

I could, but it would be a lot easier if I knew which pin was for which wire. I have the VL diagrams, would make the job a hell of a lot quicker if I knew in advance where the wires have to run.

Thanks, but that seems to be all GENIII engine stuff, couldn't see anything on the power window wiring.

just use a multimeter on ohms?
The unit is electronic and needs power applied for it to get continuity across the relevant pins. Not a simple task.
I did write down some notes when I was trying to sort the power window problem in my ute, will see if I kept the notes of what wire goes where.

All set to go, then found the switch block pins are not labelled. I know what colour wire goes to what pin, just don't know what pin is which. If anyone can help there, or have a pic of the VY/VZ power window loom under the centre console, showing the plug and which wires go where, that should help a lot.
All sorted, VY switches ready to go into the VL.
