just gave the sons girlfriends (white) laser some techwax to spruce it up to sell.
what a bitch, it was hard to see the wax going on or off unless you looked along the side with the light coming in as I was applying, Im used to doing my black cars very easy to see on black, but when it is white on white, how do you blokes go with white cars. but it did come up a treat & I had a cask of wine too!!!!
no troubles here with my white ute, the parts that still have the wax on are really dull.

Working under decent light helps too. You've just got to get the angles right to spot the dull patches from leftover wax.
lots of flurescent light in a garage and there's no problem with ANY car.

I have a white car, but I don't really have this problem. There might be a few spots of wax around afterwards, but the next wash removes them.
I actually find tech wax hard to see on any car in the wrong light. I actually found fluorescent light in the garage to be worse than sunlight. But it's good wax.
Does anyone else find it hard to get a really good shine on a white car? No matter how much work you do, they never have a deep shine like a dark car. The difference can only really be seen at sunset.

I did it in the garage with all doors open, maybe I should have put the lights on, but with my black cars, the father inlaws burgundy mini, my green VK, they are all very easy to see the wax under natural light.
it just spun me out how harder I had to look to make sure it was all off, but it looks great now, maybe she should ask more for it now

I use turtle wax ice, it won't dry with a white haze like the others, you can also wax the black plastic bits and it shines then up leaving no white marks. Also can apply it to a hot car in the sun.
