YEah but Tiff used to be on TV a long time ago doing this type of stuff.. I think he used to be in F1? He was one I think to set the speed record with the MCLarren F1. He was orriginally on Top Gear in the 80's. Fifth Gear is more serious and they focus more on testing cars than Top Gear does now. They seem to just want to blow things up and shoot things into the air. They are both good shows and fifth gears for the hottie..

If you want a more serious car show that tests cars.
5th gear is a whole lot better than Top Gear.
They have just gone the more silly type of show.
Both are still great to watch...

But 5th Gear gets my vote for the better show...

Have to say that for a 18 year old car the carlton gives a damn good account for itself,espec if you consider the advances made in cars over that time.

Watched that last night but couldnt help thinking that the carlton looked like a cross between a VL commodore and a EA/EB Falcon

I thought Top Gear and Fifth Gear were produced by the same company? I remember seing special's where the presenters from both were on.

I think they're a bit like Wheels Magazine and Motor Magazine - similar, but marketted and presented differently.

Anyway, is it just me, or does the Lotus Carlton remind anyone else of an EA/EB (Whatever it was) GT Falcon?

Top Gear is produced by BBC and Fifth Gear is on Channel Five, on the very early Top Gears Vicki was on a few episodes before fifth gear started.
