Best of luck getting it off without damaging the paint mate, and I am not being a smart *rse!!!
Tried cork/caramel wheels, also patiently with prepsol and razorblades (trust me, DONT use anything sharp unless you are putting new strips over the top).
Nothing me or the three panel beaters that tried came close to getting the neoprene off without damaging the paint, the neoprene is the stuff that sticks the strips to the doors (binding with the paint in the process).
Have just had the cal's 4 doors and guards resprayed to get rid of those stupid strips. I am sure someone on here is going to call me an idiot and that you can get the sh*t off without having to respray the doors, but I would like to see it with my own eyes before I believed it. Neoprene sticks like nothing else in my limited experience, if they've got it off without some paint damage they were lucky (or full of SH*T).
Best of luck.

Geez...wish I read this before getting stuck into removing them this morning! Its easy enough to get the strips of but that black cr@p is a nightmare. Looks like its back to the double sided tape to stick it back on till I can get the doors resprayed.

:bawl: I tried removing the black strips tonight as one of them is cracked so thought I'd remove them. Looks like I'll just get some new strips and put them on instead...
