Why are you asking on a Holden forum?
Umm because he has every right to. And surprisingly not everyone on here has only ever owned Holdens.

Here's another pointless post. Just like yours...
warrick - A mate picked up a manual TD Navara for 45k onroad a few weeks ago. Maybe that gives you an idea on price ?? Unfortunately it was in Sydney but i can try to find out the dealer if you like ??

thanks for that FatBoy,but they would prefer local if possible at this stage.the best price they have so far on the 2.5 td 6spd is a little bit better than that,so just trying to make sure they have got the best deal around.so that bit of info from you is encouraging.thanks

This may not be any use ... but anyway ...
Our company bought a new Nissan Navara ST-X (Petrol) in November 2007 from Sunshine Coast Motors (Nissan) in Currimundi ... including hard tonneau, nudge bar, matts etc. it was $41,900 drive away.
The price was significantly better than any Sydney Nissan dealers would do.

Why are you asking on a Holden forum?
You will be surprised as to how many different brands of cars, are driven or owned by forum members. To give you an idea, you can get an STX Twincab 4/4 diesel auto for $47k (ABN Holder) on the road in Melbourne......Cheers John

Sorry to hijack, But are Nissan ever going to release a Single cab chassis version of the D40 Navara? Limited choice with them, bit like "you can have anything you want, as long as its not a single cab trayback.

Didnt any of you guy s leave the holden stand ??
Nissan actually had an extra cab version of the narvara at the Brisbane Motor Show to be relaesed mid 08 in OZ , I believe they are made in Thailand.
The one there had suicide doors both sides , turbo diesel , and was priced from what the dealer said below the dual cab...........

Cleveland Nissan is the go mate.
I was getting one, stx diesel, but the missus didn't want to drive around in a "Truck".
The guy gave me an ABN discount of 8k even before the haggleing started.
Got it down to 35k even before trade in.
I'm still spewing that I didn't grab it.
Got the Z instead.
Keep away from Highway Auto group, theives.
Heard this the other day, may interest you.
They are bringing back the D30 with the new 2.5 diesel donk in it.
Most likely cheaper than the D40, something to think about.
